ROC COMPETITION

The 2024 Rich Off Clippers Competition is a state-wide event tour, gathering barbers from all over the state of Indiana to contend in several, competitive barbering exhibitions. From South Bend, to Indianapolis, to the origin of the Rich Off Clippers brand in Northwest Indiana, the Rich Off Clippers Competition aims to seek out the best of the best in the craft.

Our mission: connect barbers with other professionals and industry brands, highlight their creative gifts, raise awareness of what the ROC brand stands for, and spread the gospel.

Winners of each competition are awarded a cash prize and a signature ROC trophy.

FASTEST FADE

EACH Competitor has 15 minutes to complete their cut! Must be a BALD FADE, no parts or designs in the fade, can be high, mid, or drop fade and they will be judged and score on the following:

Difficulty Of Cut/ Hair Texture 10 Pts

Outline/ Edgeup/ Lining 10pts

Precision Of Blend 10pts

Speed/ Techniques 10pts

Professionalism Appearance Of Tools, Sanitation, Appearance Of Artist 5pts

Total Look Of Model 5pts

BEST GRAPHICS / DESIGN / PORTRAIT

EACH Competitor will have 1 hour To complete their cut and design! This is an anything goes round, all is allowed(color pencils, color spray) so come with your best!

They will be judged on the following:

Degree Of Difficulty Of Work Performed On Stage/ Hair Texture 10pts

Precision Of The Design/ Letters/ Colors 10pts

Originality 10pts

Professionalism Appearance Of Tools, Sanitation, Appearance Of Artist 5pts

Total Look Of Model 5pts

TRADITIONAL / CLASSY LOOK

EACH Competitor we'll have 45 minutes to complete haircut and style!! All traditional and classy looks are allowed (Pompador, AFROS, etc.)

They will be judged on the following:

Difficulty Of Cut/ Hair Texture 10pts

Outline/ Edge Up/ Lining 10pts

Styling Techniques 10pts

Precision Of Blends 10pts

STUDENT

EACH Each competitor has 45 minutes to complete their cut and style!! Anything goes so bring your best!!

They will be judged on the following:

FEMALE BARBER

EACH Competitor has 45 minutes to complete their cut and style!! Anything goes for this round( designs, color) is all welcomed!! Wow the judges with your work!!

They will be judged on the following:
